This is more for information than anything and probably obvious but....
My boat has had a bow thruster from new and to say it was lacklustre would be an understatement, virtually useless. So, one of the jobs in the winter was to fit a new battery up where the thruster is rather than having the loss of oomph due to the cable run from the engine bay.
Fitted a new battery in a nice box next to the thruster a few weeks ago, all in for about £70 including battery terminals that would take the tails of the thruster cable so all I had to do was cut the cable and connect them into the new terminal and then fit onto the battery post.

First visit to the boat this weekend since it went back in the water and the difference to the power of the thruster is at least x3.
£70 well spent. So if your thruster is a bit thrustless and your battery is remote from it I'd recommend adding a new battery up front.
