Bow thruster gone very quiet

We had not been on the boat for a couple of weeks and came to check the engine and vow thruster and the bow thruster seemed stalled. The fuse blew (all 400A).
Freed the thuster off by moving the motor rotor and changed the fuse.
All working again but there seems to be less thrust and it has gone quiet, still a lot of water being moved but the boat definitely does not move as quickly.
Any ideas?

sounds like something fouled round the prop, or damage to the prop.

We sometimes find if we dont use the thruster that much it slows down and is sometimes reluctant to come on at all. The solution seems to be to run it for quite a bit on and off. Maybe the brushes.contacts in the motor get furred up ?

Could be lots of barnacles on the blades!
