Boveney-Bray Olympics works

Just heard that work is likely to start this coming weekend laying the buoys to mark the exclusion zone on the Bucks side (Eton Dorney) of the river. Getting on for 3,000 meters of buoys to be laid 10 metres out from the bank.

The notice refers to it as "a security exclusion zone".

Note that my post is suggesting that work might start a little earlier than June 25th as stated in the EA notice.

They have now closed down the Dorney rowing trench to all public,
something about security, they say it will take 6 to 9 months to reinstate
after the games have finished

Understand they have started work today working downriver from Summerleaze Bridge (Bray)
