Hi all
I have a 1960s bourne broads cruiser which i have restored everything original.
However the steering wheel including dash mountings have been stolen from the yard we have her stored in,the steering system is chain to wire cable the chain is similar to an anchor chain all these are intact,i have looked high and low for a complete steering wheel including mounts and bezel (chain carrier)with no luck,i did find one chain to cable steering wheel but alas it was a bike chain type which i dont know if it is suitable i would be very grateful for any help or maybe someone knows where i could get one i am willing to pay a very good price if any members has one.
She is a 38ft bourne cruiser centre sliding cockpit if this is any help..........yours hopefully vince

I built a steering system on a previous boat using chain to wire. I used a gypsy wheel from an old chain block welded to a shaft. In fact also used the chain, so that the chain fitted.
