Hi,

Took these pics (with my mobile) of the new 44 at the Helsinki Boat Show in Feb and thought I'd share them with you.

In all it's ruggedness I found it very appealing. Sitting at the helm I got this irresistable urge to take it to the rough stuff. "Bring 'em on" I thought /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Seemed like a rock solid piece of grp.

Pics aren't that great, but hope you enjoy them.

Botnia Targa's are advertised as the 4x4 of the seas and they boast they never cancel a trail for any weather conditions.

Anyone know what happened during the storm? Did they postpone? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Looks like a proper little ship!
I love it.
Hey, Sandbanksunsets! Why don't you buy one one and me and SWMBO will crew her for you? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

BTW, I don't think you're 1971LOU so keep posting and keep asking! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Be sure to post some pics of the beauties you'll be viewing
(boats man, boats!) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

looks like a fantastic piece of kit built to go anywhere anytime, from the photographs it also looks very much like a copy of the lochin hull which will explain its talked about sea keeping ability.

definitely buy one if I wanted a posh fishing boat.

Surely a Lochin is a semi-displacement hull and the Targa is a planing hull ?

Anyway I like both types of boat. I looked at the Targa 42 before buying the Nimbus and although I liked the idea of rough weather ability the layout was just too, well strange.

Lochin ? What better for rough weather than a virtual lifeboat ? I looked at them as well but accomodation not really up to cruising with wife / family.

Somewhere on another post likened the style to GC1, Lou and others.
I'm sure someone somewhere could find that post again, might even have been on PBO?
