A couple of weeks ago I was up in the Isle of Lewis and went to Bosta beach on Bernera for a picnic. Was this you? I was very envious - I've never been sailing up in the Hebrides and it looked beautiful (when the weather's like this of course!).

This is the Time & Tide Bell on the same beach, which apparently makes music when the tide's in.

Unfortunately not me but I agree its a great place - been there for picnics several times on Sundays when fishing is not permitted.................
 
There's a house not far out of shot. So it's really quite a busy wee place. Honest.

(OK, it's a rebuilt iron age thatched cottage, but still...)
