I have removed the bosch 0001363600 starter from my mercedes om 616 engine as it was casuing problems and will try repair and refurbish myself as as spare

But I wanted a replacement and see quite a lot advertised relatively cheaply on ebay etc as refurbished but wanted a recommendation as i do not want to buy something that has just been cleaned up on outside but has been properley serviced. Any recommendations for reputable supllier of refurbished starters wold be most appreciated

Ok, they might take a look at your old one and say "1974 MB W115? 1982 Bajaj Tempo Traveller?", but that's not really a problem ;-)
