boring forums

is it just me or are the forums become a little boring lately

Not boring, but I guess would be nice to have more reports and pictures of boating weekends for those of us whose boats we can't see for another 6 months /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Havent been anywhere boaty recently so i cant but would still be good?

Whinge if you like, but surely posting something boaty, interesting and lively would be much better.

Well I would like to help out but it was/still is, far too rough to go anywhere down here. Wind is really getting up now.
Spent the afternoon watching surfers and kite surfers at Bantham. The former must have the patience of Job, waiting for a good enough wave. They seem to aimlessly float around for ages before deciding to give a wave the go. Some 5-10 secs later they are paddling back to their mates. I'm sure that these yoofs are all skiveing off from lectures at the local colleges/universities.
The kite people, who are far more active, appear to be nutcases with extremely long arms /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Would have taken piccies for you but still can't fathom out how to post them. This is after trying manfully to understand the help given on here.

Ah, but you are completely missing the point of surfing, the anticipation that the next wave could be the best ever and that you could rip it apart like a pro. It never happens of course, but it always might. Bit like fishing i suppose, the next Carp could always be the biggy...
