Borg Warner Gearbox Oil

I have a Borg Warner Velvet Drive gearbox, 1993, AS1571CR ratio 2.90 - 1, anyone know what is the correct oil to use, can I mix this with whatever is already in there, or do I drain old oil out first? Thanks RickL

Pretty sure it should be ATF auto transmission fluid, which should be what is already in there, so no problem mixing.
Available any car parts shop.
