Apologies in advance for the basic nature of this query, but....

a) Can you tell me what paint is used as boot topping? Is it scrubbable antifoul or a special paint?
b) has anyone tried a self adhesive plastic tape/decal (like used on a cavita line) as an alternative.

In the area I moor there is a degree of gunge in the water so am wondering whether permanent staining would be a problem, which at least comes out of grp with oxalic acid.

All advice gratefully received!

They say ultra hard raccing is best, i personally run my antifoul up 2" above waterline anduse twopart gloss for the bootopping. easier to keep looking good. polishes up nicely and you can use oxalic on it without staining the antifoul type..

Go for a "Hard Anti-foul" the so called Boot topping paint IMHO
is an expensive waste of time !....
