Sell up and Sail by the Coopers is full of sensible advice. Also Cost Conscious Cruiser by the Pardeys, After 50,000 Miles by Hal Roth, Cruising on a Small Budget by Annie Hill and The Cost Conscious Cruiser by Ann Hammick. The thing is, all these books have different ideas as does everyone you meet who cruises....They are good to read at home, but you will work out your own ways when you start cruising. And listening to anyone who has 'done it' will help. Of course the 'real' Bible is Cruising Under Sail by Eric Hiscock.

Never read about it, just did it! You'll learn all the little tricks from other liveaboards in different places. Theres lots of books, but everybody has different ideas, you'll make up your own minds which advice to take and which to file away!
