I am taking a bunch of people to Cowes next Saturday and need to guarantee that I can get a berth for lunchtime/afternoon. Does anyone know if any of the marinas will take pre-booking?

I also need to collect someone form Gosport so any ideas about a pick up point there would be very useful.

Thanks in anticipation.

Its not that we haven't heard avout Cowes, its just that everyone is out on the water today ;-)

I do not believe you can book a space at Cowes Yacht haven but you can, at least for an overnight berth, at East Cowes marina. Last resort you should be able to get a pontoon - not sure of name but to left as you come into Cowes - without shore access ie water taxi, last time there were spaces even during Cowes week.

Maybe someone here has a permanent berth that they can let you borrow?

or try Shephards Wharf in West Cowes also.

The harbour commissioners also have a visitors pontoon mid stream so no water or power but a short tender ride away or water taxi to get into Cowes.

Gosport has a long fuel berth that you can use for pick ups or just call them and get an inside short stay berth.
