In the middle of reading "To the Baltic with Bob" - hardback (!) therefore v expensive, and bought ostensibly as a present, so reading it without breaking its back. It's VERY funny in parts - quite big parts - esp to sailors. Griff Rees Jones - grumpy old man, but with an eye for ridiculous. Wait for the paperback/Christmas present, but I really recommend it.

He gave a talk about this cruise at this year's Canterbury Festival, and very funny it was, too. After slagging off Bob for most of it, it turned out Bob was in the audience!

I couldn't afford the book though. But as you say, when the paperback comes out ...
