Book swap at the Laying Down supper

Following the Books to Read thread and the upcoming reading season does this idea find favour?

If you have finished with a good book (sailing or not) then why not bring it to the supper and we can have a book swap.

I usually take unwanted books to an Oxfam bookshop so I suggest £1 in the pot and I will take that and any unclaimed books to Oxfam.

Now where is a cotton reel......must get on.

Brilliant idea - we've got a few boaty-related, but non-fiction, books which we'll bring.

Thanks all. We raised £38.75 and three carrier bags of books for an Oxfam bookshop where they will get a reasonable price for them.
