Bombard AX1 - Material?

The tender that came with our new yacht is a bombard ax1 with a wodden slatted floor. I want to buy some paint to touch it up, but I don't know what material it is. It doesn't feel like hypalon.

I notice that some paints say 'do not use on PVC' and so on, so, does anyone know what these boats are made of?

Almost certainly PVC but go to the Polymarine website and look at the Advice/tech sheets tab.

Polymarine do the paints for both PVC and Hypalon

I have just painted the inflatable floor of our AX3 with grey paint from Polymarine.

Looks and feels good after the sticky floor we had last year.

I cleaned the sticky floor with acetone before painting.

OK, Cheers. I've already cleaned it with acetone, trying to get some old paint and marks off, but they won't budge. Hence the need for paint. I've ordered some now.

I had the AX2, one oar worked itself free while on a mooring f for a few hours. Cost to replace something like £50. It's a stupid design when that can happen! Perhaps a little plastic tie or something might solve the problem.

definitely 1100 Decitex PVC tubes which are pretty standard for PVC tenders.

We have an AX3 with a slatted floor which is a bit of a disaster..the slats break if you kneel on them..is it possible to get an inflatable floor as a separate accessory for this dinghy?
Also the "rowlocks " which are standard fitment are almost useless..if you put any effort into rowing ,they bend and pull out (yes I slotted them in correctly) Are better rowlocks available?

Yes, better everything for the Bumbard dingy is available.

Just give it to your local kids to play with

and get a used Avon.

irregardless of how ancient, or how bad a state its in, it will be way better than a Bumbard.

Cheap and nasty,but unfortunately we are stuck with it as it is almost new(came with the boat) and I can't really justify scrapping it and buying a decent one.
Anyway..where can I get an inflatable floor fot it?

I assume you have asked bombard if they have such a thing.

Personally, If I didnt like it, it would be sold on here or boats and outboards, and use the money to buy what you do want.

No I haven't asked Bombard yet.,but plan to do so very soon And as the dinghy is in Greece,the logistics of bringing it back and selling it do not add up. I would if I could,so short of dumping it in a skip and buying another,I am stuck with it.
