We are currently in Greece and considering leaving the boat in Turkey for winter. Could anyone on here recommend

1 a cheap boatyard within easy reach on Dalaman airport may by Fethiye area?

2 a good place to check in which is stabbing distance of Rhodes?

Thanks all

There is a wide choice of suitable marinas ith hards from the Bodrum peninsula to Fethiye - some 6 around Gocek alone. There's a string of cheaper hards along the shore at Icmeler, near Bodrum, while many of the Gocek marinas are geared to superyachts with prices to match.

Your best bet is to trawl through all their web sites, read between the lines to see who they're aiming at, then check their prices. Noonsite's Gocek page will start you off ; http://www.noonsite.com/Countries/Turkey/Gocek

Alternatively, just follow the herd to Yacht Marine in Marmaris, or step out of line to the more delightful Yalikavak, on the NW of the Bodrum peninsula, and Aura Yacht Services, well recommeded by several of my web site readers.

I would e-mail Atila Alada at Offshore Sailing in Marmaris.
Best to go to their web-site and click on the contact info. They can arrange an agent to do the clear in and it's cheap, and give you a price for Albatros Marine haul-out, which is the most reasonable I've found in Turkey so far. I highly recommend this company. If you use them, please say hello from David on Palarran.

My boat is in refit at EMEK Marine in Goček, Skopea Marina; they are well reviewed by Amel sailboat & Nordhavn power yacht owners.

Their SS work is TOP drawer.

They are factory approved by both manufacturers.
