Boatyard central England?

I heard once that there's a boatyard somewhere in Derbyshire that has lots of boats for sale, the primary reason is that it's slap bang in the middle of the UK so easy travelling distance for everyone.

Can anyone tell me where it is? I've tried Google but no luck.

Went there are few years ago. There were plenty of boats there, but most were absolute wrecks in need of major repair work.
Also remember if you buy one you will incur transport costs to get it to the coast.

Only went there once - most of their offerings were seriously overpriced (nothing new there, I hear you say!), but everything I looked at didn't need TLC as much as a humane killer.

Overpriced because their fees are wild...15% for boats less than 5k I seem to remember when I enquired about selling my old boat there. Then you have to transport the boat there as well.
