Although I am 60 and at times my knees ache. I thought I would like a little mini Zapcat experience on the water. To this end I have bought the Boatworld KAT Sport 330 and will initially put my Tohatsu 9.8 hp two stroke and then if I have the need for more thrills my 15 hp 2 stroke Yam.

I hope to get this new boat on the water soon but in the meantime here is a little unboxing and set up video

We’ve got a 280 with another brand name on it, as our tender, with an e Propulsion outboard. It will just plane with only me on board. The 9.8 ought to be fairly quick.
I am hoping so. I also have a 15 yam 2 stroke which it is rated for so that is also an option 😁

Not at all, it's a defence I can reference if challenged as to how many remote controlled helicopters I have.
Now if you are talking remote controlled aircraft I have over 250 including about 12 Turbine Powered jets and only about 8 RC Helicopters and 12 plus drones

I don’t have any toys like that sadly. Have thought about an RC sail boat. We currently have only 2 tenders ( one of them the Aircat) a Novurania baby rib, an XOD and the dragonfly. We find that quite enough, tbh. We had a Ring 6.5 RIB til last month, but sold it to a worthy new owner. Good luck to you, Bigplumbs.

we do have a mini collection of outboards, some of which may get tried on the Aircat. We used it today, with the electric outboard in Newtown. Pretty pleased with it, though it is very sensitive to fore and aft weight distribution. I’m sure that is something you will find, but it’s very easy to deal with.

Have you got the same kat as the top of this thread or another version

Well I have done the first on the water test of the KAT and it needs some work. Here are my findings so far

So what a difference about 9 mm makes. All fixed now and what a fun toy. See below my test after tilting the transom back about 9 mm at the top. Initially I would have given this boat 1 out of ten then after a little tweak 3 out it ten. After the 9 mm tilt I would now give it 10 out of 10 for a fun play thing one up. When I get home I will try my 15 hp yam 2 stroke
