I ordered this boat from Boatworld for my Holiday on the 6th June 2021. Unfortunately the delivery was delayed but Boatworld stepped up and had DHL deliver it to our campsite,

Here it is set up and being tested with a 3 hp outboard. Tried it with a 9.8 hp and heck that was scary fast but the lake was a bit bumpy that day so not a good test

No fottage with the 9.8 I am afraid

If the quality is anything like their dinghy transom wheels I’d avoid. Wheel struts both snapped within two months, I had to threaten OFT to get a refund.

Looks like it’s a bit of a pain to helm with the tiller extension.
That is an issue the tiller extension I was using was just a piece of waste pipe and was the wrong length. I have ordered a telescopic one which should be far better. This was a first test and that is one of the things that need addressing but should be easily doable

the quality seems top notch I would say almost equal to my honwave

Their transom wheels are a completely different thing and prone to being weak. Also many people put them on the wrong way round

If you use this an rivers or inland it is actually guide good to lock the outboard in a straight line and then steal by dipping in the oars

I only bought this to try out as it was a new product but first impressions of quality are very good

I'm glad you have done this.
I bought the same. I couldn't decide between, that or the 4.35m option. I plan on using my boat to camp along rivers and canals, so I need to carry a good few bits of kit. I thought on my own, the 4.35m would be too big, but now seeing your video, I think it might be too small for me.

I haven't put mine in the water yet, so I might see about exchanging it for the 4.35m

When looking at my options, I wanted a 'Kaboat' style, because I knew I wanted to be going on the canals, a bit narrower is better. Plus, due to its shape, I could use a smaller motor, go further with less fuel.

Spearfish, Nifty, Xcape were my options, then I saw this and I thought it might be better as my first sib, to go cheaper.
I had seen a Spearfish 4.5m Widebeam last summer, I liked it, bought it, but always thought it was too big for me on my own.
But I had to wait 3 months until delivery. Then when I called to ask about when it was turning up, I was told, delivery would be another 4 months. So, due to that, plus deciding it was too expensive £1500+, I cancelled it.

What I found strange about Boatwolrd, was the complete lack of reviews online, Facebook groups were the only place I saw feedback.
Most people say, Boatworld boats are fine, you just won't get a return on them when you sell them.
So I thought, I would go for it.

How have you found yours?
What was yours like out of the box? I had a good few dents, plus my transom isn't sitting straight!
I plan on pumping it up again to check on the condition of the dents/nicks from transport and pack it up with my camping gear, to see if its right for me.
I see you used a tiller extension, was that for comfort or to help shift your weight into the middle better?

Ullswater is where I planned on taking it for its first dip too lol
Cheers
