I've got an ad running on the site and have had approx 10 emails enquiring if my (insert any word you care to use to define jetski here) is still for sale but only 1 telephone call as a result of replies to the affirmative.
All I can figure is the other enquiries were from other sellers. Anyone had similar experiences?

Could just be people looking around. I have to admint, when looking to buy my boat I have enquired about plenty, even just to get more details. A detailed advert would cut this down for many... not seen your advert, so cannot comment, but a lot of the yacht adverts are very brief. Put as much detail as possible guys.

would you be happier if you had no emails or calls. Always plenty of jetskis for sale here. Peps buy them, blast around for a few weeks and then realise there is not much else to do with them unless you get into racing or surf rescue. I rent one occassionally. Great fun but half an hour on a sit down or 1 hour on a stand up does me for the season.

Had similar response. When I replied to one emailer they responded looking for all my details so they could send me a cheque for full total. So am guessing a good percentage of your replies are less than genuine.
