This coming weekend will be my last for a while at Lymington, after 3 months of adverts I have finally managed to sell her, not an outright sale I have taken a smaller part ex, which I can sell nearer to home on the rivers, in the 2 years we had her we never had a dull moment, but what makes me wonder,I thought as I was emptying the tenth trolley load into my larger than average Transit van was, why have I carried all this around with me in the first place, tools, spares, pots and pans , glasses cups and saucers, enough to start a small catering business.

Boat owners call me to find out why the speed has gone from their boat, I must be the biggest cullprit I thought to myself, must have another 2 knots at least in her now, new owner wil be pleased, so a message to you all...... empty those cupboards, look down the hatch, get the wife to have a sort out, just think of all that diesel you will save this season, as I work on boats a lot of the time I always think, why have they got all this junk ? seem I was as guilty as the rest.
So if you need an engineer this summer on the south coast just give me a call, by about June time I shall be in a state of withdrawall, just dying to get out on a boat.

Nothing on my boat thats not needed. Cors theres the third oar for the dinghy, that might come in handy, The spare anchor, enough has already been said. The spar frying pan. ( Well it's not that bad). All the tools that went down but not come back. And the plank. For Poole quay wall and others. But ait seen any for a long time.

No one can force me to come here-----------

When I left the uk, foir portugal, I took off a mountain of old timber, (just in case) and lots of other stuff I'd been carrying around, it came to one and a half giant wheelie bins full! I kid you not! I have just unloaded another wjheelie bin full in portugal, where the hell does it all come from! I unloaded four bags of clothes, that I will never wear again, they wouldn't fit me anyway! I now have a rule, if it hasn't been worn for a year, it gets dumped! Lots of pots and pans aswell, I'm having another giant cleanout before going to Ibiza.

Dom you are joking about the warranty surely? a piston never hurt anyone ,surely they are going to cough up for the repairs, the dealer charge a fortune over here, got 2 41 s in for full overhaul at the moment out of targa 33, doing it for a fraction of the dealer price.
