Hiya B, yeah, of course what I said to Hurric is interesting also for yourself, having the very same tender and being already in this area!
The place is easily reachable from CF marina, and it's near the Mezzaluna bay which you already know.
Below is a gmaps pic of the spot, and by clicking on it you can see exactly where it is, zooming out on gmaps website.
The only problem is that in the peak of the summer it can be a bit busy, also because it only takes 2 or 3 small boats to fill the bay.
But absolutely stunning off season!
I drew a yellow marker where we anchored, in a couple of meters of water.
What makes the bay bottom absolutely not accessible to large boats (on top of being very narrow) is a submerged but very shallow rock, right in the center of it.
The blue line shows our approximate snorkeling path.
Really beautiful, particularly the internal cave inside the rocks, on the left side of the pic.
It's VERY narrow, but large enough for swimming comfortably through it, one person at a time.
No need to dive/hold breath, since also inside the rocks the cave ceiling is above the water surface.
Not recommended for claustrophobics, though...
I'm well aware that this is not a concern for yourself, mind - just saying! :encouragement:
