Yes apart from the yachting world thingy on the side. Reminds me of wearing my Henry Loyd Round The World Race coat, stearing a banana boat on the Lancaster canal. It looked a bit out of place some how..../forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Thought of what....? No really, you're gonna take the cushions in this time!??? /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Best thing when on boat and it's raining heavily is to go to pub - traditional one with log fires!

well going to the pub sounds like the best idea when its raining, of course you could always do an inventory of the bedding on board, including counting your pillowcases !

Muckyfarter in glorious sunshine...

right now (tues lunch), although rain was forecast... It'll be cloudy Thursday though - at least it will be if you fire those engines up! Mind you, Shaun with the Moonraker was doing a good stand in job last week - I couldn't see his boat for the grey clouds for about half an hour!

You picked the wrong weekend, spent most of Saturday in the Sound and anchored in Cawsands Bay for lunch. Had a good force 7 SW and a bit lumpy going over, waves 6-8ft high but close in no problem. Comming back was a bit of fun with a good following sea. Sunday was a different matter all together with force 9 SW really throwing the boats around in the marina, Will and his staff were seen doing the rounds and checking things out. You were Ok tucked into your sheltered spot. Hope you have a good weekend.

What's a bit of rain to an expert ???
Is there a decent pub Mountbatten way or will you be buying me a drink elsewhere in Plymouth ?
Glorious day today - first "trip" of this season - quite lumpy t'other side of the Bar so had a play./forums/images/icons/smile.gif/forums/images/icons/smile.gif/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif.
Reconfirmed what a lovely pastime this boating lark is.

There's a Zodiac Medline "do" on at Salcombe ( Normandy Pontoon) on Sat & Sun. if anyone's interested. Ring Wills Marine 01548 852424 or Leon Petersons on 0845 345 5345 for "invites".
