As any one have any experience of boating in this area I know the weather is not as hot as the med and its shorter period but it looks like very good cruising ground just wondered if anyone has boat there or had a boat there and any recomendations or pitfalls of boating in this area

thanks

Dan

Spent a few shore based holidays in the area but unfortunately none boating. Wonderful part of Spain unknown to most of the UK. Madrid escapes there en mass during heat of summer.
Usually called the Costa Verde because of the amount of rain compared to the rest of Spain.
It seemed to be mainly the haunt of raggies and you will probably find out more on this area over on Scuttlebut.
Few years since we have been, but there was a noticable absence of the up market marinas lined with boutiques selling over priced clothes with little alligators on. :)

thanks for that ill have a butchers over on scuttlebut just been there too look at a boat and found it very pleasant ,thinking of keeping it there for a season before moving it over to the med. found it unspoilt on land just wondered what the cruising was like looks good place to keep a boat and the moorings are over half the money as what they are on the med
