Just returned from a week in Bangkok. If you ever find yourself passing through check out the long tail boats and get them to take you through the canals. Here's some pics...

I can picture it now. Mucky Farter with two big vsplutter lumps sat on the arse end, with massive lever for stearing them. Cant help worrying about the over all length issue with the marina. I've gone already from 35 to 42ft. With that prop shaft I might be approching 50ft!! Agree it's beter than the Vsplutter thingy wotsit /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Came back Air France to Paris then down to Barcelona.
Did see an Eva Air sign and my mate and I looked at it and said who the hell are they??
Hope your wife does not read these posts if you are raving on about "Bangcock" etc.
The far east is all pretty good. Very nice people. Just come back from Myanmar(Burma) and had a new engine bracket in my checked luggage. The security man asked me to open the bag, but when he saw it he was ok. He then laughed and said he thought I had an Issuzi? machine gun in their!!!

EVA

EVA are part of the massive Evergreen shipping group. They have a fleet of 50 planes including about 20 747's. Excellent value £400 - £500 for non-stop Heathrow to Bangkok. Premium economy about £600 and well worth the extra £100. Nice air hostesses. Only downside was the food that seemed to be of the pot noodle variety.
