Boating app time zone confusion.

I am using the Navionics Boating app on my iPad. I am currently in France and my iPad is on French time. But the boating app says it is on Guernsey time! What sets the time zone. I don’t want to make any mistakes with the times of tides etc.

I have the same issue but only with some tide stream markers that it highlights as Guernsey time

I've just been adding an hour to make it French time

One reason I run everything on the boat in UTC. Zero confusion when crossing time zones.

I know nothing about iPads or navionics, but pc remains in UTC in France.

Almost impossible to achieve with modern electronics, especially with a mix of different tech. Even my wrist watch sets it's time based on GPS

We have a similar issue to OP just setting an alarm on an overnight ferry from France to UK, knowing that the phone will change its time zone but not being certain whether it will when in airplane mode or whether the alarm will update along with the clock.

That's not been my experience. Everything, including watch an phone is set to UTC with no offsets
