Having berthed in East Cowes Marina for about 15 years, as always we paid early this autumn for 2021-22 - on credit card in case BoatFolk went belly up.
We were offered a choice of "Boatfolk bonuses
So, bearing in mind this is for 2021-22 berthing, wouldn't you expect the voucher to run with the berthing contract? Or at least into the summer season?
No, the little so and sos have made the £100 voucher expire 31 January 2021!
Leaving aside that we may all be locked down for some or part of that (and the same offer / expiry date is circulating around all their marinas, including the Welsh ones), between now and January we are hardly down the marina other than boat checks, and the attraction of eating out with masks, curfews, groups of six and viruses circulating isn't that great.
I feel its duplicitous and sharp practice and have emailed the marina to say so, and asking them to relay on to Head Office.
I'd be interested to know the thoughts of other BoatFolkers?
