Can anyone help with the name and location of a supplier of 'Boatboard' white polymer boarding in the UK please. Can't find a UK supply company on the Web, I thought Gael Force did carry it but its not in their catalogue anymore. Thanks.

By coincidence I need some too (12mm thick). I asked fairline t'other day and they said it is called "starboard". I haven't started googling or tracking it down yet but hope that's useful. Plse let me know if you find it and a supplier, especially in quantities less than 8x4 sheet

just had a look on a sheet of starboard and the sticker says made by wwwkingplastic.com will try and get a bit more info when i see the right person

I am not familiar with the exact product you are seeking but I got similar white plastic board 'offcuts' from my local sign writer.

I am looking for a source for smoked/bronze plastic glass if anyone knows .

Seems you can only get it in 1370 x 2440 sheets . I only need a small piece, don't larff , but I've found out its what they make catering chopping boards out off !!!!! so sent off for a 450 x 300 x 12mm board which I hope will do the trick. Boating teaches you to be resourceful !!

Yep good idea. That makes good sense
I need half of an 8x4 sheet!

Vetus Polyboard

This is one option - Vetus Polyboard, comes in three thicknesses:

Vetus catalogue entry

I'm not sure if Vetus source this from King Plastics or it comes from another place as stated elsewhere KingStarboard is the leading product in the US:

KingStarboard

When I last Googled around there were several people selling offcuts - we used some of this on Formanda a while back.

If the stuff you want is the same as a kitchen chopping board I think you will find it is HDPE High Density PolyEthylene which is the stuff I was proposing from Fahr industries alternatively if you are not worried about the finish try www.directplasticsonline.co.uk they stock the stuff and may have an offcut.
