When we moved our 42 footer from Shotley to Swanwick a couple of years ago it was £1000, but I guess that it might be a bit more expensive now what with the increase in fuel costs.

By the way from Lincoln I would definitely recommend Beverley Transport at Hull. They have moved a couple of boats for me and really are experts. Failing that you could always bring her round on her own bottom.

Hi Lisa. We used Kevin Henderson Yacht Transport to move our F33 from Hamble to North Wales. Cost about £900.00 , 4 years ago. Highly recommended. He is based in Emsworth , Hants and you may be able to negotiate a deal on a return trip if he is making a delivery oop t' north or east.Ian

Thanks both. All being well, the broker will arrange transport. I just wanted to get a rough idea so I know what they charge us will be within what is usual.
Thanks again

Twas about £900 for an S28, and that was a few years ago.

If possible, have someone there at loading & unloading, so that the putting away of canvas/cushions/bits/folding aerials etc. and putting it back is to your satisfaction. Else it happens whichever way the lorry driver decides. (Hint - he's a Trucker. Truckers don't always think "cushions").

Hoping to beable to be there both end FP, certainly want to be. I've googled some companies and the prices don't seem to have changed much in a few years.
Thanks
