Hi
We've just been lucky to buy our first classic boat, have bought a peter Freebody Cruiser.Would like to move her but worried about using a transport firm, can you employ somebody to pilot her to a new marina, boss won't alow me time of work to move her myself.
Any help would be great, thank you

I moved my boat from the Broads (Horning) to Shepperton using Thames Valley and Interboat Transport and were very pleased with them. If you want it moved in the water so to speak I am sure there are several ways of doing that. Aprofessional skipper or just someone perhaps who is an enthusiast (and someone you can trust) and would like to have some time on the water to help you.
You dont mentioned locations/ distances etc. have you decided where she will be moored or still looking ?

Thanks for your post,we have just got a mooring at Farndon marina NEWARK,have spoken to them regarding transportation, now need to find crane on Thames, which I've been told Shepperton are good.

Both Shepperton and Penton Hook are people who know what they are doing. I guess it just depends on cost and booking a lifting slot to suit you. Other yards have cranes of course .. it just depends where on the Thames is convenient for you.
