Please can anyone recommend a haulage company who may be able to shift a 42 foot long keeler who would also be able to jack her up to withdraw the trailer (ie park her in a barn ?)

The transport bit is no problem subject to height limits. Any of the specialist boat transport companies can handle that size. The challenge will be off loading so suggest you just phone a few and ask the question.

+1 for Shoreline. My boat is only 31 feet and they only needed one of their smaller rigs but I was very impressed with the care and attention provided by the driver.

When they moved my yacht they had a "Ü" shaped trailer which they backed in. They lifted the yacht with hydraulic jacks then drove off on the open road at 110km per hour! He said they often transport 80ft trawlers to Onslow which would be a distance of around 1600km
