We've bought our new boat - an Elan 333, and now we need to get it from E coast Ireland to South of France.
We have a few feelers out but any other recommendations very welcome. But one point we know nothing about is where in S of France would be best to have her delivered to.
Easy for transport company, not too expensive, helpful.
Ideal for us would be Hyeres Toulon area but further west is possible. And when we pick up the new boat we'll want to leave our current Trapper 500 somewhere very nearby to be sold.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Brownsox,

From a transport standpoint, I have used David Drummy and was very happy with him, his knowledge and he ensured that my interests were represented during the collection.

No connection other than a satisfied customer, last used July 2009.

Finding a berth may be very difficult. A few years ago my friend wanted to move his boat to the South of France, he has an apartment in Port de Bormes. In the end he had to buy a boat that was already on a berth and then sell his UK based boat.

Further West may be easier to find a berth, but then you have to suffer the occasional Mistral:

Check marina availability first, cos spaces down there are as plentiful as hens teeth! Also, sorry to say this, but your 'new' boat, at that size, is not going to get the local HM's leaping over themselves to help.
