Boat transport from Plymouth to Cork

Hi all

I need to move my Maxi 80 racer - 8metre - and about 1.8 tonnes - www.maxiracer.se - by road to Cork from Plymouth. (I have no time to sail her there and really that route does not appeal!) Any recommendations for transport companies or other advice?

Michael at Southwest Boat Transport above did a good job transporting my 35ft yacht from Southampton to N. Ireland a few years ago . He was also the cheapest but a quality service. You may find someone with a large jeep and trailer a cheaper option than the articulated lorry.
