boat trailer hire, windermere

Does anybody know of a braked boat trailer available for hire in the South Lakes / North Lancs area? Boat is an 18' shallow draught halfdecker, beam 6', about 750Kg.
I've been looking for a trailer to buy, but not found one yet. Hope to be taking Valkyrie back to Windermere in a few weeks time when the current round of renovations are complete.

Most trailer owners have their trailers set up for their own boat and aren't really interested in changing it.
You don't say what type of keel you have. Is it bilge, fin, lifting, long, triple?

Judging from the number of trailers on Ebay there's quite an active secondhand market.
The boat is a centreboarder, so no keel as such. She came home on a car transporter trailer; I may have to take that option again if nothing more suitable can be found.
