Boat taste

Think you've spotted something Tom. We can cruise at 22kt, but more often potter along at 7.5kt enjoying the exerience of just being on the water as the scenery passes by. Getting from A to B is nice, but it's the bit between A and B that is often the best part of cruising, and where I like to spend more time.

It's a busy car park that surrounds Dublin

Yes and it certainly is'nt a free car park either /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Btw is there a quick cross country route from the Naas Road to the airport which avoids the M50? I often seem to be doing that route in the evening rush and it's awful

Not really, but M50 traffic has improved in the past two weeks since they've finally opened the 3rd lane on the western section. The tolls are to go barrier free in about 9 months time. We use the port tunnel to get to the airport now more than the M50 - it's magic. Most of the major road projects are due for completion in 2010 and a few in 2012. Are you over here much Mike?

OceanFroggie, I'm in Ireland about 4 or 5 times a year, mainly for business. I have customers in Dublin, Cork and Limerick and I usually do a round trip. I'm also regularly in N Ireland, in fact I'm off to Belfast right now!
I love going to Ireland and I have visited on business for maybe 20-25yrs but the traffic is much much worse than it used to be /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Of those two, the Fleming. I think the Man50 is a very ugly boat indeed, they got the lines all wrong imho, quite unlike the beautiful Man70 frexample

I'd love a big trawler yacht long term too, but it doesn't suit my purposes right now. A nice 80 foot Marlow, Mulder, Moonen or something

A very hard choice,i have always liked the flemming but someone once told me they are difficult to helm as the view forward&back is quite restricted, the m50 just looks right i honestly can't make up my mind mm1.
