Boat sunk in Magaluf bay

Yacht sinks off Magalluf beach

Wonder what went wrong to cause this?


I can't determine the model of the boat, but I know the waters it sank in well and there are no hidden rocks etc to catch you out.

The boat looks modern, so likely to be in good condition...

We once had to pop in there during some strong wind and rain.
As you say, there isn't much of a navigation danger.
Water gets shallower as you approach the beach but nothing out of the ordinary.
It would be interesting to hear why this happened.
