Boat storage on trailer near Torquay or Poole

Hi guys

I was just wondering if any of you guys stored your boat on trailer anywhere down on the south coast close to a slip.

I'm trying to find somewhere like a campsite where i can store reasonably cheap,just to save having to trailer it everywhere.

Any ideas or locations please guys.

Don't know of any camp sites with boat storage. There are two camp sites with slipways near Poole where it might be worth enquiring. Rockley Park (which is not a cheap launch site) and Redcliffe Farm at Wareham. For higher convenience at a price, Cobbs Quay Marina in Holes bay has a boat storage rack and they will lift your boat in and out when you need it.

The cheapest solutions tend to be the smaller Yacht or sailing clubs.

Friends round here in Somerset store their caravans at various places for around £20 a month.

Well,many thanks guys, i'll take a look around. Has to be a lot easier to leave the boat near the coast than tow it everywhere and my truck will appreciate it too lol

There are many storage yards on the dart, MDL have one of the largest with a slipway.

Dartside Quay.

Torbay is a short sail down the dart & around Berry Head, or for a more relaxed day just meander up & down the river.
