Hi all
Just sold the antares 6 ( far too small ) and am after some advice on the next purchase
I need something with an easy to access single diesel which will cruise at 20 knots preferably a shaft drive fly bridge and will sleep at least 4 , budget up to 80 k and most importantly must be easy to sell on so nothing too old
My ideal boat would be an antares 30 but the cheapest of these is over 100 k that's if I could find one !

Any other suggestions please ?

Graham

A bigger merry fisher type, unless you fancy the change to a sports cruiser

Change some of your criteria. A nearly new Merry Fisher 855 with twin outboards. Very popular, easy to live with, easy to sell on and sleeps four. Should have change from your budget

Its not sold until the money is in your bank! :)

Merry fisher 10 - rare (you might have to go to France) but cheaper than the A30
Prestige 32
Antares 980 if not too old
Last two are twin shaft but still good boats

Here is a MF10 from 2010 for £75k

Lots here, some well under budget http://www.theyachtmarket.com/boats...=merry+fisher+10&currency=gbp&lengthunit=feet

Though here is an Antares 30 in budget http://www.theyachtmarket.com/boats_for_sale/1393050/?searchid=13659270&page=1

Thanks for the suggestions , never seen a merry fisher 10 looks a very promising boat if I can find one , I,m not really too keen in going abroad for the right boat I,m sure there's gonna be the right boat in and around the South coast I might just have to be patient and wait to pounce if one comes along , boats seem to be selling fast at the moment , sold mine in 7 days !
Looked at the antares 9.80 impossible engine access as well as the prestige 32 lovely boats tho but I like to do my own servicing so easy access is vital hence the single engine option
Not overly keen on outboards either , for all the usual well discussed reasons

Good luck. Single engine boats like this not popular in the uk until the last couple of years.
FrNce is a day trip / there are boats that suit I can't understand why you wouldn't look there - the boats are French made after all.

Each to their own.
