Rather suspicious this, I was looking at this boat just a couple of weeks ago when I took my car in to garage. The 'work' was stalled, she was looking neglected and the superstructure was badly stained as if she had been at sea fro a few months, where as the last time I saw her they were just spraying her for the first time, and that was LAST summer. The marina is protected by security fences and gates and has CCTV (according to the signs anyway) and she was moored as close as you can get to the marina shop/office also just a few yards from the 'local'
Very sad sight.

Our boat is moored in Preston marina litterally a couple of hundred yards from this one.
Unfortunately the marina fence and gates did not protect this boat, they start after where it is moored, public access was available.
We was at our boat all weekend till about 9.00pm
What a shame

It had been completely built at Preston, work was still ongoing inside her and they were waiting to take her down to Liverpol to have ballast fitted. She was berthed on a waiting pontoon without any security. Thankfully the wind was blowing the flames and smoke away from other boats in the Marina.
