Boat Showrooms Ltd appear to be in Liquidation

I can confirm they went into liquidation in the middle of November and ceased trading. At the same time, Fleming Yachts Europe Ltd has started, with a mix of some of the orignal staff which handled Flemings from Boatshowrooms a few years ago (such as David Miles), plus some staff which have recently left Boatshowrooms.

They can be reached at,

Seems strange that their website http://www.boatshowrooms.com/ is still up and running with references to their stand at LIBS or is this Boat Showrooms (Phoenix rising from the Ashes) 2009 Ltd?

Just checked Companies House website

Boat Showrooms Ltd (company number 00928547), formerly Harlyford Marine to 2004 is apparently in Voluntary Creditors Liquidation from 03/12/2009. It has an insolvency practioner in charge Elwell Watchorn & Saxton LLP appointed from 03/12/09 as well.

I too visited the Boatshowrooms website, where everything appears as normal, so puzzling!.

I think the Harleyford based sales office became part of Espar early last year.

Hopefully that office remains unaffected, as I've always been very happy whilst dealing with Mark Pearce and his team.

A real shame.

Bought our boat from them 3 years ago and can't speak highly enough of the service we received both during the purchase and after with some recall work.

Karl Farrant was a pleasure to deal with and is now the UK agent for Corvette

Tempting combination!

Hi Piers, I think the answer is that the Hamble "branch" (Boat Showrooms Ltd) has ceased trading and gone into liquidation. The Shepperton Marina "branch" is however still trading - we had our boat listed for sale with BSL and in October received a letter and novation agreement transferring the brokerage ageement to Shepperton Marina Ltd (trading as Boat Showrooms)... seems to answer the above questions.

The other question is whether Boat Showrooms still push the Grand Banks franchise - haven't seen a GB at a Boat Show for ages.
