Just back from the HISWA boat show in Amsterdam - brilliant !!! 480 boats to climb over. All the big players were showing their best kit .
It only took 40 mins from Luton Airport (£5 out & £8 home - thank you easyjet!) and twenty mins from Central Station via a 35 knot passenger ferry to the show entrance.
Hundreds of steel boats (Pedro / Lisson etc) offering free delivery to the UK with prices to die for ! I could easily buy a new boat in Holland and use it for 5 years
and sell it for "money back" or even a profit over here. A new Pedro is for sale, with all the toys, 35ft and change from £100k
The marina mooring fees are less than 25% of thames moorings - I had to make sure that it was a normal cigarette I was smoking
