I still cannot beleive your 41mins yesterday

61 mins door to door home last night and virtually zero wait at two change over stops..

Yesterday was a dream travel day on the trains.

Today is a different matter ! But I drove, still under an hour but blackfriars underpass was starting to turn ugly.

A3 tonight !

Richard is right - according to the eve standard it will be closed to all traffic for next weeks and then might open partially to cars only meaning trucks and other heavys will have to transverse at ground level thats 5 sets of lights btw

LBH&F are cleaning up like bandits as every time I have used the broadway cars are stationary on the A4 slip into the gyratory and parked in the well CCTV monitored and ticket happy yellow box! Its a zoo at the best of times but with the flyover closed to all traffic its a mega issue

Chaos yesterday.

Inbound the Blackfriars diversion disappared after following the first sign, then become another diversion etc. etc.

Outbound the Hammersmith Flyover diversion took you straight into the closed road for the Chelsea match, complete log jam.

Still the pair of boats that passed me on the Thames as I drove along the Chelsea Embankment at 30mph were having fun, just waiting for the "Liveaboard" complaints to flood the fourm!

The only way out of town south yesterday was the A3.

Embankment was a nightmare then Kings road had a smash plus a couple of football games and the amersmith flyover made for hell on earth ....

Still 54 mins to twick down the a3, through sheen and cruised home to a glass if red.

I suggest the a3 to tower bridge to anyone coming up next weekend by car.
