I'm not sure that the tooth pitch on those saws would be suitable for cutting lines unless they were under a lot of tension, think they would would tend to grab.

I use cheap French steak knives, serrated, at a finer pitch for that task. Shed testing shows them to be very effective.

Mind you at that price hardly a big gamble.

I got a pair of secateurs on board. There's also the hoe for scraping weed off at antifoul time and the solar garden lights for sticking in the winch sockets.
What about the pvc coated wire for mousing (I'm not serious). Hanging basket on the end of the boom?

Yes, lashed to the end of a boathook they have freed my prop on 2 or 3 occasions now.
