Hi all.After realising it was the boat or the wife...i am thinking of putting our Beneteau 44cc on the market sadley. Would you consider UK or Med best to have her to assist in a sale. Don't mind a last little trip! Thanks for any advice......

Hmm in that case I think we will need to see pictures of both before we can give advice, but if it is the boat to go then UK will probably be best.

That's a bit extreme and frankly a bit harsh.

It would be kinder to road transport the boat back to save on wear and tear.

No statistically valid background to this, but my feeling is that boats for sale in the Med are priced lower than an equivalent in the UK. Mind - they might just be more realistically priced.

Making a post on Matchmaker dot com will probably start the process to solve the other problem.

I thought over the last few years sales of UK boats had held up because European buyers found they were good value and easily transported to Europe. Why not try it with a UK broker like Jonic on here and see what happens, he seems well recommended.

The answer would normally be simple, but divorce is a financial disaster which may result in sale of the boat anyway.

There's only one thing to do in my opinion ...

grovel and beg .....

Forget your pride man, this is important!! You need to move heaven and earth and do everything in your power to please this woman. A concerted effort spread over 4-5 months should get you back in the water for summer.

You need to get her to the point where she feels like she's kicking a puppy by insisting the boat goes.

This is the look you should be going for ...

Better to save yourself and the boat, there will always be other women.....
