Pics taken today. Chap on his own seemed to be attempting to anchor close in to meet some people on the beach.
I suppose he succeeded!Resize_20231023_182340_0637.jpgResize_20231023_182339_9195.jpgResize_20231023_182338_8918.jpgResize_20231023_182339_9482.jpgResize_20231023_182339_9753.jpg

The boat seemed to me to be fully functioning up till it beached.
I don't know if it is still there. It was low tide but I think the waves today would push it up the beach rather than reflect it. The tidal range was very small today anyway.... about 0.5m I think.
There were two gents in hi viz jackets watching over it when we passed 1.5hrs later

Looks like all ends well and perhaps a bent prop blade or two is the outcome.
Suspect from those videos some of us might have considered remaining moored up that day , the weather producing that swell on a rather exposed shore.
As for managing to wrap a mooring chain round an outdrive prop ......been there got the "T" shirt
