Press release received from CRT today claiming almost 97% registration compliance - bringing in approx. £20million pa , around 10% of total income.

Thames figures cannot be verified but beloved to be well over 10% evasion and much higher in some marinas.

My boat legally does not have a C&RT license at present as it is ''off water''. I imagine there are plenty of others in the same situation. Presumably this could explain a large part of the 3%.
Some marinas in C&RT areas are ''off water''.

The 3% is for boats that do require a licence but don't hold one.

Your boat won't be included in that number as it doesn't need one. Much the same as ours doesn't when it is out of the water for winter.
