\'Boat prices\' on International Paints Puzzel ??

Was looking to painting bilges with 'International Paints 'Danboline' 2.5 Ltr @ £38 (Typical on the web)
Until I saw in Wilkinsons 'International Paints' Garage floor paint 2.5 Ltr @ £22 (also says protective against oil & Grease stains)
Anyone have any experiance with the floor paint,(maybe it is the same as Danboline but lot cheaper!
Are we here again with if it is for a boat 'double the price' or is Danboline better?

Re: \'Boat prices\' on International Paints Puzzel ??

I have in the past successfully applied garage floor paint (Lt Grey) to bilges as have may boat owning friends. Using either Leyland or International.
It covered well, dried well and performed well , good ventilation being the key to drying paints in boat bilges.
looks like the secret is out !

Having worked for I.P. these products are different with inferior resins additives being used when compared with Danboline

If you look at the B&Q own brand paints some are also made by International.

The Schooner varnish is /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif but it does say not for outdoor use /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
