I tweeked my back last week moving a friends house and nothing to do with the sailing (but did get over 10 knots through water :D).

Just put deposit on my next toy:

Nothing impress a worn out Lark on road trailer. I have bought it as therapy for my bad back :D

Might delay duck punting building for a whilst?

Poly Navicular Morbus - I know of it have been working on it for some time. The only known cure I believe is the wrong wife, certainly for me it worked wonders. I spent 2 years without a boat and had to refuse 3 "free" ones! Finally I got one and managed to make it 2 but wife made me sell one.
Since the divorce my condition is improving.
If I can count inflatable tenders (2) and a radio controlled yacht I can double my score to 6.

Dylan I can assure you my case is not hopeless, I still have permission to build a duck punt and my daughter will "need" a boat before long.

I am trying :D

The boat:

Boat this last year to use as a tender when we move back to a swinging mooring.

Now thinking it's way to pretty to be used as a tender and left uncared/unloved in the marina.
Thinking of taking it with us to France to sail on the Odet river whilst we're there.

Now, on the look-out for something cheap & cheerful to use as a tender.

Also own an inflatable.

A few years ago 30' yacht, 33' yacht, inflatable dinghy, 18' inboard diesel launch, and a GP14. Now down to 38' TSDY and the inflatable. Life is now so much simpler !!

25' cruiser, GP14 sailing dinghy, inflatable tender, liferaft (does that count?) and inflatable canoe. That's 5, which is probably a fairly normal count.
Unless you count the 5 keelboats which I don't own, but help with maintenance of (as bo'sun), and help people to sail with. Then it's 10.
And I nearly forgot the ancient sailboard languishing in the garage. 11.

There used to be an old fibreglass dinghy used as a tender, it had been around the club for longer than anyone could remember and regularly got sold on to another club member as the current owner acquired a walk-ashore pontoon berth. It was ideal for the job, as it was tatty enough that you could leave it on a mooring without worrying that anyone would nick it. I got quite fond of it, but then acquired a walk-ashore pontoon berth and eventually sold it; otherwise it would have made 12.

The first time I've ever done an inventory...oh dear.

Jeanneau Sun 2000, Jeanneau Merry Fisher 645, Albacore, Phantom, Touring Kayak, Inflatable Kayak, 2.7m Rib, 2.4m Sib, 2.2m Sib, 2*windsurfers, 2*kiteboards

13 in all. Time for a clear out, I think.

Oh beggar, I was ignoring the RC yacht & 3 pond yachts (for the kids - who are now 37 & 40!)

Now you are seeing how it happens.

People say "You're into boats aren't you? I've got one in the shed/ my neighbour offered me this/ found this in the house when we moved in etc etc Would you like it?"

Then you see a bargain in the Charity shop & after a little light haggling for the fun of it, you suddenly realise you have yet another one.
