1 One boat given away.
4 boats have departed for brokers sales pontoons
1 boat sold privately in week via Boats and Outboards
1 boat sold via broker.
5 "new" boats either on their way or actually on the RCC pontoons, with my old boat returning to the club after a short time away along with a rather nice Phantom 43 from the same marina.
Usually most boats bought from the Thames, not this time , the Broads seems to be getting our business at the moment.
One boat sold is on its way the the Lake District.
All mid range flybridge boats on shafts............................ no tents or outdrives. :)
Without being too boatist about this , of the few tent/outdrive boats on our pontoons, one has serious outdrive problems(again) and two or three others with diesels have been nowhere this year despite the glorious weather.
Two very small sports cruisers both with twin petrols are the only ones in regular use, both came round to the Thames recently , one via St Kats.
Hats off to them both.

I would say boat use in our area has been quiet overall although although did become busier in August.
We did get to our usual longer summer holiday voyage but didn't hit a great weather or sea state window .
I think some folks have stayed very local and conserved diesel

With a few exceptions boats still selling like hot cakes regardless of the mechanism that drives the propellers and regardless of canvas styling.

I’m currently in Cannes at the show, literally no point coming as you can’t get anything before 2025 !

Now that has ruined my day, was thinking about spending 600K on a Prinline "starter boat" might have to cut down on the options , ie steering wheel etc. Not enough money some might say, but everybody has got to start somewhere !

Prices are still pretty good on a section of the market..... if sensible .
Princess 33 fly sold in about a week via local broker , boat being replaced by yet another Princess, a 35 this time.
Princess 33 was nice much loved and cared for boat, not suprised it went so quickly.

A Princess 360 also recently purchased, has been trucked down from Brundall. Now ashore in Gillingham Marina , being fettled by its proud new owner, nearly ready for its epic 3 mile journey round to RCC moorings.
Some new boats arriving on our moorings, most recently a gorgeous Princess 420 .

....And if Val Wyatt's can't sell it who can

A lot of boat for the money and suspect the price by now is very negociable to somebody who will not mess them about.
It did come up on our radar when we were in the market but although very spacious inside and the bonus of an inside helm, without the addition of some big blue tent, topsides a bit exposed ?
The Turbo 36 suffers the same problem.
On the up side at least a couple of decent engines to get it to move but as usual for the Thames the somewhat ancient NAV gear that Noah would have been familiar with.
Yes its Broom and Yes the Thames should be its natural home.......but perhaps that boat is simply the wrong place. ?
