Hey guys it's been a while!

Bought a bayliner with 'boat leveler' trim tabs. Currently not working. I have tried running an earth directly to the unit and then running a hot wire to each of the inputs, bow up, down and the two solenoids. The motor doesn't even try and the solenoids don't click.

Strikes me as a bit strange that the motor and two solenoids all aren't working? Surely something would still be likely to try to work?

Can you still get a plug and play replacement?

Am I looking at this wrong?

It's a 2255 ciera, could I just put 'smart tabs' on it and forget about hydraulic tabs?

Many thanks

If your out at sea on the plane hydraulic trim tabs are far better option than smart tabs, being able adjust bow down or bow up either side is a great benefit. What make do you have ? If Bennett’s they would be happy to help with suggestions how to fix

They are original fitting American 'boat leveler' tabs.

Same as this unit but in blue.

Any help would be appreciated.
